EU CCMS

The harmonised C-ITS service set in Europe is based on a single trust domain for all stakeholders sharing I2V, V2V and V2I messages in standard formats and including a security header in the messages. This safeguards the safe C-ITS message transfer between all stakeholders and the overall trust in the EU wide system for all users. The European Commission supports the C-ITS Services by providing the EU CCMS and the related central elements, the C-ITS Point of Contact and publishing the ECTL – European Certificate Trust List regularly.
