CRG-UN Roadshow Kassel
With the aim of demonstrating the operation of C-ITS in urban areas and presenting the project results, the three pilots in the C-Roads Germany - Urban Nodes project are hosting a series of (German-speaking) events in September and October 2024.

In the Hessen/Kassel pilot, the project partners:
- Autobahn GmbH des Bundes
- City of Kassel
- Hessen Mobil – Road and Traffic Management
- GEVAS software
- SWARCO
have come together to implement Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS). New and enhanced C-ITS services are intended to support traffic in the future, contributing to increased safety, improved traffic flow and reduced environmental impact. The results of this collaboration are highlighted through presentations and practical demonstrations on 2nd October 2024. Together, the project partners have implemented the following C-ITS services in the Hessen/Kassel pilot:
- Green Light Optimal Speed Advisory (GLOSA)
- Use of Vehicle Data (Probe Vehicle Data, PVD)
- Road Works Warning in Urban Areas (RWW)
- Route Advice
- Emergency Vehicle and Public Transport Priority at Traffic Lights (TSP)
- Emergency Vehicle Approaching (EVA)
